I'm not crazy about either of them. I'm worried about interest rates going up and faith in our economy from the public. I never really paid attention to how the elections affected me before but now I have a bigger stake at risk.

Bought my first investment home. Will try to keep posting progress but I do work two jobs and doing this on the side for now. I am concerned about the election and if it is going to effect the market when its time to sell. Any thoughts? Forgive me if I do not respond to any posts right away, Im only on line early mornings to respond to emails or every 3rd day during the day when i'm at fire station.

Best bet is check with building dept. in your area. I would assume 15' on the one side and right up to the easement on the other. My educated guess, but check with building dept. Also keep in mind that if your roof has a overhang on that side, that marks your "building line" not your foundation.

I agree with Larry and Greg. I have laid a mile of tile in kitchens and baths but recently had a customer ask for the Allure flooring. Less work involved in putting down and the better grades are waterproof. Which is great if installed on wood sub floor. If installed on concrete it lays pretty flat as well. Its definitely an option I give customers now.

Was a permit pulled ? If there was a permit Char is right, you can go to the town or county and place a complaint. If there was not a permit pulled you might take some heat yourself for not insisting on it, but they should still be able to help you out. I would also let the contractor know your going to the inspection dept. That might straighten him out.

Just want to say hi, not to good with introductions in a forum matter so please bare with me.

I'm a contractor looking to get into real estate. Don't judge me yet, I'm one of the good contractors. I have done work for realtors flipping homes as well as a few acquaintances , we all made money and are still friends. I'm also a full-time firefighter which helps holding two full time jobs. I'm looking forward to learning from a lot of you on here and hopefully help someone else out if I can.
