Hi,

Hoping to connect with some people familiar with the Augusta, GA and/or the Montgomery, AL market. I am interested in buying a house to BRRRR (either long term or short term rental). I do not know what areas of these particular markets to start looking. Would love to connect with agents to get started and potentially contractors.

@Eric Martin what is the best way to contact you?

Did anyone ever follow up on the multi family metal building?  I am interested in this Barndominium concept.

Did you have any luck with this?  I am interested in this idea...

@Jordan Lockaby @Ryan Howell

2 off market Properties in the Woodfin area - both small 1 bed, 1 bath:

  • Purchase Price - $150k for both
  • 1 - cabin is rented long term for $1,000/mo
  • 2 - home needs to be gutted.  Also planning for an addition to make 3/2 (~$80k)

My thoughts are a conventional loan for the 1st (if possible on a cabin) and purchase + construction on the 2nd.  I have spoken to a couple of hard money lenders and I am exploring that route also.  I am new to this so any thoughts, ideas, opinions would be greatly appreciated.

They are not eligible for USDA loan.

Does anyone have experience with any of the local banks in Asheville, NC?  I am working on a deal for a couple of off market houses and one will require significant rehab.  I plan to make a trip to Asheville, NC within the next couple of weeks to speak with some banks, but wanted to check to see if anyone on here has any recommendations.  Any information would be helpful.

Hey Jadon - Did you end up finding a good real estate attorney in Asheville?  I am currently looking for one myself.  Thanks

@Joseph Bafia I was afraid of that.  I appreciate the insight.
