Post: Rich Dad Poor Dad Program?

Hey!

I have a friend that recently bought into the Robert Kiyosaki program, and I was wondering what some people think (yes, I searched it up). I got a glance at some of the contracts and they seemed... simple. I'm still a novice myself, but are RE contracts really that simplistic? I'm currently using rocket lawyer to construct contracts, but was wondering what people thought about Kiyosaki's program (specifically his contracts).

I'd imagine they are that way for a reason. If you have experience with his program, what are your thoughts/experiences with it?

Thanks for the help!

Post: Essential Contracts for a Wholesale Deal in Portland OR?

Hey!

I'm getting into wholesaling flipping in the next couple of weeks, and I was wondering what are the main contracts I would need for the entire process (start to finish). From what I've researched so far, I would need: a purchase and sale agreement, affidavit and memorandum, and an assignment of contract. Does that sound correct?

Also, where would I acquire these contracts? I've been experimenting with rocket lawyer, but I still need to check if that covers all the bases I would need. I planned on going to a local event (myrarebird) next Monday to network.

If you have any advice or suggestions for me, it would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, if there are already all these great resources already I'm in! Thanks for all the input guys!

Thanks for all the help! Glad to be apart of a community of like-minded people!

Hey!

I've never been apart of a forum before so this is all new to me, but I'd like to introduce myself and become apart of this community.

I'm a novice in Real Estate Investing, and have been using various resources to learn about the landscape (including a seminar from FortuneBuilder's this past weekend, great info but ridiculous upsell), BP being the best. A friend and I are diving in head first, and we'd like to build a network of people in our local area. (my mindset is to organize weekly meet ups and such)

We've already begun reaching out to attorneys to start building up our contracts.

We're both very passionate and want to find other people who are passionate about this as well! We want to support others in our local area, and create a learning community. So is there anyone in the Portland, OR area (or near it) that would like to link up and network? Or perhaps someone could direct me to existing places to network?

Thanks for taking the time to help, glad to be on BP!
