@Dave Foster For sure , I wanted to save our cash to free us up for emergency buying. I've had the home for over 7 years, so I would be able to do a 1031 ,but would I be able to refi first and it tie in to closing ? And be able to find a like kind property for that price . I'm basically trying to keep my money in the bank instead of using it on rehab

I have a property that will sell for 190k and it's free and clear. I also have funds allocated toward the rehab. Would it be better to refi and keep the 25k toward the flip. I had plans on doing a 1031 exchange on it so I wouldn't profit unless I did a boot .However , I would have to pay it back or get taxed . Help

I purchased a couple rental properties back in 2012 when the market crashed . I've been thinking about selling and doing a 1031 exchange for a like kind property.  I would then refi and purchase another property . My question is would there be a better way or more advanced way of selling and benefiting to not pay capital gains ?

Hello Bp! I financed a home at 4.375% and would like to do some upgrades h as the roof , which loan would you recommend? Heloc or cash out refi.

Hello BP, I am doing research on trying to find a private investor and would like to know has anyone been successful and what steps should I take to find one?

Ned Carey it would not be a great risk because I have two properties that are paid off and 100% cash flow besides the normal dues I would pay and miscellaneous. I was thinking give it a couple of months to build a stronger cash flow , however, with the hedge funds and investors purchasing 25k properties at a time its really getting scary in Florida.

Hello Bp, I wanted to know how soon after you finance a property it would be appropriate to cash out refinance? I was given a 4.3% rate and in Florida the market is saturated and I don't have a private investor as of yet, of course , the money would be used for an investment property preferably a triplex .

@ Karen Margrave thank you

Hello BP, I was doing research on Heloc and the rates could spike at any time . Has anybody experienced a rate spike or can even give more information on Heloc . I received my information from realtor.com
