Thank you @Michael Jobe,

I have been under the weather for the last few days taking DayQuil and NyQuil. Sorry, I just didn't feel up to doing very much at all. Still a little weak now.

Have a good weekend.

Good Day BP!

Does anyone know of a good, knowledgeable, Gulf Coast Realtor that I can work with? I need someone who knows the Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama coastal area (mainly Mississippi); and who is an honest person. They can contact me during the day because I work night shift (3 to midnight/M-F), central time.

Thanks!

Hello BP,

I was just on Craigslist looking at some local properties and I came accross an add that said:

 "Need another apprentice. The last one got rich and left."

I went to the link in the ad and it was from a guy named Joe Crump. Has anyone ever heard of him, or dealt with him? He advertises for apprentices that will work with him to help him build his business while he teaches them how to be an investor. Is this a scam? Any input will be appreciated.

Thanks!

@Shane Skowyra,

Welcome to BP (from another newbee). There is a lot of information in this community and I am still trying to absorb as much as I can, as I continue to move forward.  You will enjoy being a part of this community for sure, and I wish you well dear friend.

Welcome @Alexander Merritt,

I am sort of new as well, but I must say, there is a lot of giving and receiving of knowledge on BP. You will definitely be able to learn and grow here. I have met some great folks and I am still learning a lot.

I'm lovin' it!

Have a great time with this community, because I sure am.   :-)

@Matt Taylor,

This is a very good post and I want to say thank you. I'm still learning and trying to soak it all up and digest the information correctly. May I also say thanks to all of my fellow BP members and thank you, as well, for all of the great information.

I'm lovin' it!

Hello to everyone,

I had a similar experience with HomePath as well. I helped my sister to purchase her first home, and it was listed on HomePath for $60,000 (asking), valued at $63,000 and we got it for $27,000. My sister doesn't make a lot of money (single mom) and we found the house on HomePath and it worked out really well for her. We got a 5% fixed loan for 30 years and her payments are under $400 PITI, and we had a $2,000 down payment.
