I signed up for Than Merrill's Real Estate Class in Atlanta. I'm wondering if anybody else has taken it and do you think it will be beneficial?

I wouldn't mind a partner at all but I don't know anybody that has money like that.  I've found a home I'm interested in I'm just stuck for my next step.  i have about $2,000 of my own money and I have a steady job.  That's what i'm working with.

I am new to this and doing my best to learn as much as possible.  I am not starting out with much money.  My question is what are the best ways for me to finance my first project?  For the experienced users how did you start?
