Does anyone know whether a seller has to disclose whether a property has bed begs during the time of sale in mass?

Were dealing with an issue with one of our clients and this wasn't identified during the inspection. Upon introduction to the tenants after the purchase they informed us the previous landlord has been dealing with them for months.

Hey @Mike Hurney I may be off base but I've seen a lot of people come on the forums lately and post questions for the first time and people come in and bash them.

So are you curious if they went to a seminar and it could be of value for you or was it something else?

Lets keep this place positive for everyone.

@Dan Smith Welcome to BP! You have certainly come to the right place for real estate that's for sure.

So my wife is a licensed real estate agent with Keller Williams out of North Andover. We own rental property in haverhill and she actually just helped someone find a 3 family for owner occupancy with a place on washington st.

I will shoot you a message with her info incase your still interviewing for agents.

Welcome @Nick Cassidy to Biggerpockets. This is deff the place to come to learn more about real estate.

Knowing where to start depends on what your goals are.

Have you thought about that? Are you looking for passive income? Or flips perhaps?

I recommend thinking with the end in mind. Figure out what you want to accomplish via real estate. Once you have that people on here can certainly help you to get there.

Good Luck, Rob.

We're up to 35 units now, but we bought it because of scale ability. We have some hefty goals and both buildium & appfolio are built for that. I know when we were doing research the two had a big difference on how they priced. Buildium charges per unit I believe and appfolio is just a flat fee regardless of how many units you have. So starting out buildium is cheaper.

@Steve Rozenberg We use Appfolio for our property management software. We've been using it for about 2 years now and I don't have any complaints. There are a number of companies out there that offer software. I would certainly recommend trying them out and seeing which one you like best.

Any other questions let me know, happy to discuss.
