Or does anyone have a recommendation for a training course in Atlanta??

I'm looking to add to my list of career specialities.  I'm currently a real estate investor. I used to own a contracting company and now looking to start a new career as a home inspector. I know there is no licensure in the state of Georgia so I want to do an internship with a seasoned home inspector in the Atlanta area.

Thanks!

Robin

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

The area and I also live in the Westside.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Online.

How did you finance this deal?

IRA self - directed

I live on the Westside. Good luck finding deals. The professional investors are all over homes worth purchasing. They literally are on the market for minutes before they're gone!

@Marc Winter , thank you. They have not inspected the property personally but their mother has and has approved.  So, would you forward them the lease and have them sign it even though they personally have not seen it? I was thinking of asking them for a non refundable deposit that I could charge them for the month for taking the listing off the market. If they go through with the lease, then I apply the deposit to their security deposit. Does that make sense?

I found a tenant for my rental home but they won't be moving in for another 30 days. They live out of state. I ran their rental application and everything checks out great. My question is since the tenants won't be moving in for another month, do I have them sign the lease now prior to seeing and inspecting the house or do I just collect the security deposit now and collect the first months rent just prior to them moving in? ? Not sure what the proper action is. Should I have them sign the lease now??

Thank you,

Robin
