I won't be living in it so I might just keep it as is. The only downside to keeping it in the LLC is that I can't write off any expenses, which there are many. I guess I just need to weigh my options and go from there. Good question about inheritance. I listed my beneficiary with the custodian, so I'm assuming that covers the checkbook LLC?? Something I def need to inquire about. :)

Glenna, unfortunately, I only have 20% in the Roth, the rest is in a traditional. So, I'll have to pay taxes on that portion. And of course, the custodian will get their money! I'm just wondering if it would be better to keep the house in the LLC, and just take distributions instead???

Wow! That's fantastic.  Thanks David!

I'm getting ready to retire in Jan 2022. I have a rental home that is in my SDIRA LLC. I want to transfer the deed into my name at retirement. What kind of taxes would i be responsible for if I am unemployed??

Hi All,

I'm an investor and live in Atlanta, I have a rental property and now I'm interested in learning about Private/Hard money lending for flippers.  How does one find legit flippers to loan money to?

Hi Helen, thanks for responding. I’m looking to maybe self manage if I can find the right people to hire. Any references? I’ll need a housekeeper and a maintenance person to fix anything that might go wrong in the unit.

Thank you!

I'm in the process of purchasing an investment oceanfront condo in PCB and wanted some input on Vacasa?  The company is currently managing the property but their fees seem steep. If anyone is currently using them can you tell me as a property owner how you like them and would you recommend.......

Thank you!

Robin

I've been looking to buy an investment beach condo in Panama City Beach, is now still a good time to buy? The interest rates are the lowest I've ever seen, but I'm concerned about Covid-19......

Look in Florida. Panama City beach is a great and pretty inexpensive place to buy a beach condo that you can rent out all year long.
