@Rotchil Noel Of course!  "No and Low Money Down" is one that I have been wanting to read for a while.  I will also have to check out the "Rental Property Investing" book as well as that is what I am hoping to get into.  Thanks for sharing that!!  Up until now I haven't read many books about real estate unless they have had specific examples of it, but I have read books like "Rich Dad Poor Dad" "Cashflow Quadrant" "Think and grow Rich" "The Millionaire Next Door" etc.. Now I am starting to read the "Unofficial Guide to Real Estate Investing" in hopes to learn the basics and start to understand what steps I need to plan out.  Also trying to learn the market of the Orlando areas and locations surrounding it.  The BiggerPockets podcasts are also great for advice!

Hello and welcome @Rotchil Noel!  Glad to see another addition in the Orlando area :).  What books have you read so far that you feel have attributed most to your learning about real estate?  I just joined BiggerPockets as well in hopes to get over the Analysis Paralysis.  If you keep up the motivation and use this site regularly, I am sure with the support of this community you will be well on your way to your goals!

@Jennifer Pelham

Thank you so much!  I wasn't aware of those meetings so I will try to make it out to them.  :)  And yes, I have a lot of reading to accomplish, haha.

@David Baier

Thank you and GO KNIGHTS!  :)

Thank you for the warm welcome and the link!  I will look over that in depth tonight.  Right now I am trying to find out what kind of investing I would be most interested in doing, but I would like to understand each a bit more until I really make that decision.  My plans could also change as time progresses so I would like to have a good idea of what I will be wanting to do.  You and I are the same in that we buy all the books recommended and read through them as fast as we can haha.  I will definitely stay active and try to learn as much as I can.  Thanks again David.  I am sure I will have plenty of questions along the way, so thank you for letting me ask questions if need be.

Have a great one!!

Thank you so much @Andrew Davis!!

It feels great to be a part of this community already.  Even though I may be young at 23, I feel like I am behind the ball haha!  I am listening to the podcasts every chance I can get and reading about all kinds of investing in my free time now.  Actually, I just started hearing about the whole "House Hacking" idea and I think it could be brilliant if done properly.  I will definitely check into it more, so thank you for telling me that!  Thank you as well for the links, I will be reading through all of these tonight :).  I would love to have a chat sometime and get to hear what RE investing is like firsthand.  I will stay in touch for sure.  Thanks again, and have a great day!!

@Kim Meredith Hampton

Kim, Thank you!

I will definitely check out those books as soon as I am able to.  I am trying to learn as much information as possible and surround myself with successful investors now so that I can start making some moves in investing sooner than later.  Your business website is incredible and once I have a better understanding of investing I would love to ask you a few questions if that would be okay. :)  Thank you again for your message, I hope you have a great day!!

Hello everyone!

My name is Robbie and I am a recent college graduate from UCF.  I am 23 years old and currently in an internship as an Environmental Scientist in Orlando, Florida.  I am just getting started learning about real estate investing and I'm very excited to connect with others through BiggerPockets and locally.  I have always wanted to create a financially free future for myself and I feel that real estate investing would be the best fit for my plans.  Right now, I am listening to the Bigger Pockets podcast, as recommended by a friend in another hobby, and it is incredible how this site has brought so many investors together.  I have many questions so far, but I am sure they will be be answered along the way.. as for this post, however, I would like to ask you all what your favorite real estate books are?  Thank you all for taking your time to read/respond to this.  Very excited to meet you!
