@Crispin Wong Definitely keep your day job for awhile. It takes some time to build trust and clientele.

As you grow take more hours from your current job and “invest” them into generating new leads or servicing current ones.

@Aaron K. Very good points you made there. And yes one of the areas I am curious about would be lead generation. How do most investors find their realtors? If there is a site or other resource in common I’d love to know about it.

I am a newly licensed agent in Savannah, Ga. I am looking for ways to stand out amongst the crowd of other agents to buyer and sellers. Ideally my niche would be working with investors, so what are some things that stand out to you when looking g for an agent? What sites or keywords did you use in your search?

I am eager to hear any and all feedback, thanks!

How would I go about finding the owners to two seemingly abandoned houses? I am looking to purchase and rehab them if I can get the right price.

I own a home I have a fair bit of equity in and I am in need of money to rehab it so I may sell for a proper valuation. Any ideas on how to go about finding a lender to use for the repair costs? Ideally I would have the house sold after the repairs are finished.

On a separate note I am looking into using a 1031 exchange when I sell this property to try and find another. But this process is all new to me so any ideas or suggestions are most welcome. Thnx

I am a new real estate agent in Georgia in need of some advice. In your opinion what would be a more lucrative venture long term, Commercial or Residential?
