Hello BP fam!

I just bought a quadplex and should have a ton of equity in 6 months. It is my primary.

Does anyone know a good lender for a HELOC? highest possible ltv.

Thank you kindly!

Hey Steven you can always do delayed financing on the home. The loan is treated as a cash out refinance, so the rate is not as competative as financing the initial transaction. But if the numbers make sense then they make sense

Hi Orlando, I am surprised no one has mentioned it yet but apart from your credit score and occupancy (owner occupied, or investment property- second home rates pretty much mirror o/o) your LTV will be the next biggest contributing factor to your interest rate. Hopefully you have at least 20% equity in the home and 30-40% will result in even better rates

The furlough will not count as a gap in employment but you will not be able to get a conforming loan until you begin receiving pay stubs again

@Brian Oen Hey Brian! I know this thread is years old, hopefully you are still in the game. I just moved to Gville and am a few months away from looking for a fixer upper to live in then sell after 6 months - 1 year. I work for my buddy doing painting, renovations, maintenance, repairs, etc so I'd love to connect. I work for loanDepot doing mortgages as well so there has to be some way we can help each other. Hope you're well, talk soon!
