David, if the mobile home is in a park, most parks have rules that prohibit an owner of a unit from renting it to another party.  If the unit is on leased-land elsewhere or is on land that is also owned as well, then you may be able to rent it.

You can flip mobile homes too. They are often higher profit margin, without nearly the money exposed. In commercial, the mobile home park is an excellent investment. Since you already know something about them - that may be an area to explore as well.

None yet, but I'm just a day old.  From these responses, it's clear this is a useful resource. I'll have to invest more time here and see how to go about finding people with common interests.

Ben, we do Mobile Home flips regularly and they're profitable.  There are a lot of variables, but if you know what you're doing (as with anything it seems), they can make you a lot of money.
