Was wondering what you guys' thoughts were on SFH or MFH.

which do you prefer?

which comes with more or less head aches?

which is more sustainable?

which pushes you more toward financial freedom?

Post: Benefits of getting a Real Estate License

Hello BP,

I know a lot of Real Estate Investors get a Real Estate License at one point or another. I just wanted to hear a simplified explanation on it, and what the biggest benefits were for someone to get one, even if they still work were to work a normal 9-5 job, and don't plan to specifically sell Real Estate full time.

Thanks!

I was wondering what you guys think is the best way to get started on the real estate investing path. I would like to purchase my first project sooner rather than later, but I don't know what is the right call for my situation.

I currently live in a condo with my brother (who I am looking to go into real estate with) that is less than a year old, in a building with 20 units or so, in Coralville, Iowa. We both have careers and are putting as much money away as we can in our IRA, 401k, etc, while paying the mortgage and our student loan debt. We have some capital, but not a lot.

What do you guys think is a good next step?

Hello! My name is Riley and I am new to BiggerPockets and would like to get into investing in real estate, specifically rental properties. I currently live in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area in Iowa with my brother. We both graduated college last May and we are looking to get into the rental property business together. So any and all advice is welcomed!
