hi Michael. I have always manged my own properties so I really don't have a great recommendation for you. Good luck. 

Welcome Louis. I am in the Albany area as well and own a few multi-family properties. My first 3-family (which I still own) was barely break-even cashflow, but the more I learned to do repairs and maintenance myself the better it got. That also set me up for success when estimating returns on future properties.

Hi George. I am in the upstate NY area as well. Just be careful with partnering with family/friends. I would ensure you get a formal partner agreement that spells out roles/responsibilities, timing, taxes (capital gains), cash flow, etc.

Hi all. My name is Rick and I live in the Albany, NY area. I have been dealing with real estate for about 8 years now. I have 3 multi-family properties and manage them myself. I am looking to continue to grow my real estate portfolio with more multi-families and / or commercial properties. I am always looking to network with others in this area as well as the greater Northeast region. I also have a full-time job, so as I continue to grow, I will be looking for ways to contract property management services.
