I have used several inspectors in the Cleveland area. For the last 3 I have used Chris at Dream House Inspections, LLC. He does a nice job.

  I agree with the others. We own 7 duplexes in Lakewood and are still buying. Just look for a deal, a place that can use some updates, maybe an unfinished 3rd floor were you can add value.

We have quite a few properties in Lakewood and no matter when we have a vacancy it is filled before the previous tenant leaves. If you can wait I would do the renovations first. Good luck!

I am a buy and hold investor that is purchasing in the Cleveland Ohio area. I am looking for a lender that holds their mortgages that can lend in Ohio. If anyone has any experience with lenders that do this please pass them on.

Lisa the duplex’s are a better deal in Lakewood and there are quite a few of them. The prices have been going up over the last few years, however you can still find some deals on the east side. I    have purchased 5 over the last 2 years.

Jane Boland is in Rocky River but specializes in Lakewood, I have done quite a few deals in Lakewood with her and recommend her for your sale.
