I have 4 properties in an over 55 community. My experience is:

Pros - older folks always pay the rent usually timed when SSN check comes in, never had cause to evict an old lady, small 1000 sq ft Florida bungalows are desirable as a senior rental

Cons - rents are lower than market price, expectations for service are higher (more interactions with property mgmt), gotta keep properties upscale

Overall, I’m happy in this over 55 space. What’s everyone else’s experience?

Post: How to get off ‘willing to sell’ list

Hi all, I have 5 single-family rental properties in 2 different states. On just 1 specific property, I get multiple unsolicited daily texts/phone calls ... telling me they want to buy my house for cash, as-is.

Why that 1 house and not the others?

What setting is telling all these real estate buyers that I am willing to sell?

How do I get my name off these lists?

Not trying to stop anyone in the business from making money but it needs to stop.

Thanks, Rick

@Travis Lawrence by the way, if you just bought the rental 4 months ago and clear $300 a month ... that’s $1k Where did the other $29k come from. Just curious.
