i am looking to purchase a property in Massena, Iowa but i am not familiar with the area. I live out of state.

There was a property in that area I was interested in but it was sold before I could put in an offer. I’m looking anywhere for a deal 

Thank you for the head up. Idk about the plumbing but there’s no windows in the basement and I’m looking at brick houses idk if that matters when it’s over 100 years old. I would like to stay in contact with you if that’s possible

I’m thinking about purchasing a rental  property in the group 14621 area but having 2nd thought bcuz i think it might be a D class area not a C class... thoughts?

As the owner in NY of a rental property do I need to obtain a certificate of occupancy and a housing certificate if I’m hiring property management?

I want to purchase a rental property in NY state.  i know i need a certificate of occupancy but do i need a housing business license? I’m hiring a property management  company so is it their responsibility to have get these licenses or does it fall on me the owner?
