Found a 3000 sq ft condo space in Laurel. It’s still in vanilla shell. It’s been empty since it’s construction! The year was... 2006! There are several vacant condos around this unit. I was thinking of getting a dental office in it but there has to be a reason why no one touched it for 12 years, right?? Run away from this property? What would you do?

I’m an orthodontist with an active RE license...also just don’t have the time to go out and research properties or even find deals! What podcasts do you all recommend? I do a couple of days of 1 hour commute, so I am looking for great RE podcasts! (Apart from BiggerPockets podcasts)

Yes, mainly on commercial properties... since I am in dental business I was looking at a single building (about 5-6000 sqft) that I could allocate about 2-3000 sqft for medical/dental and the remaining portion for a retail tenant...

Hi, I just completed maryland salesperson license test. I already work full time in another professional field and my goal was to look for a commercial/investment property for myself. I’ll be reaching out to some brokers to see if they wouldn’t mind working with and/or supervise me in my early days of professional real estate business. Congrats @Stef! I just took my state RE exam in Maryland tonight and thankfully passed! Going to have to look for a RE broker to hang my license with! I am a dentist so will probably be keeping my day job and look at RE investment opportunities!

Hi, I am about to finish my RE classes and take the PSI exams... I have a day job as a dentist but would love to get into the investing side... my next goal is to find a commercial property where I can set up a second office... also some residential rentals as well!  :)
