Hey BP community, I'm wanting to getting my RE licenses and I was wondering if any of you RE agents recommend any top online courses in Tennessee to get my license. I am currently living in CA and was going to get my license here, but the "Allied school of Real Estate CA" doesn't transfer over to other states, and I plan on moving to TN in a year 1/2. Any advise on what I should do? Has anyone been in this position? Thanks in advance. Rhea

Welcome to BP nation Chadarius! I am from San Diego, Ca born and raised and bought some of my investment properties in TN! I am also New at this as well, but how I started out my real estate portfolio was I bought turnkey properties. My husband and I invest out of state, which is why we chose turnkey properties for starters. Good luck on all your future endeavors!! All the best, Rhea

I'm new at RE investing and I own a few investment properties that are being rented out. We have a property management company that deals with everything, so my question is... When inflation goes up, rent goes up (not sure all the time?) so with dealing with property management, as a landlord, are we allowed to up the rent? How does that work with the property management? I have not contacted my property management about this yet. Just wanting to get advise. Thanks in advance.

Hello BP nation!

I am a newbie Real Estate Investor from Encinitas, Ca. I'm 28 and I've been a pediatric nurse for 8 years and earlier this year I was blessed with a beautiful baby girl and decided to put my career on hold so I can be stay at home mom.

I was introduced to real estate investing earlier this year and came into this not knowing ANYTHING! And never would I have thought I would have such an interest in it! My husband and I recently purchased our first 2 investment properties in Tennessee within the last 3 months. My goals are to get my RE license, build my portfolio, flipping homes and getting into wholesale . I came to BP community to learn from others, take advice, and network.
