Hey @Will McGuire I plan to join the Mid Hudson REIA here in Poughkeepsie area. I went to a meeting a few years ago. Good people....friend of mine runs it. They meet on 3rd Wednesday of month I believe at a hotel up here.

Hello everyone.........My name Is Richard Brideau. I am a new member here and I look forward to reading the site/forums and learning how to build a business in REI. I have been a technician at Verizon for almost 17 years now. During that time I also owned a small baseball/softball training facility for a couple of years.

The entrepreneur spirit has always been in me but I have always played it safe. I am now ready to dive into this and learn as much as I can. Years ago my real estate lawyer told me about investing but I wasn't ready. He said something that always stuck with me though....."I did not become a millionaire from being a Lawyer.....I have made my money from Real Estate"! Now I see and understand that. Needless to say being a tech at a big corporation will not make me wealthy! Time for a change in my life. My family deserves more. I am really interested in Buying and Holding 2-4 Multi-Family Units.
