Hey guys, I was here before, did a good bit of reading up ( on here, YouTube videos, and some books) and got to a point to where I believed I was ready to begin my road down investing. Then a roadblock hit and I didn't feel confident anymore and doubted that this could actually be a route that could lead into a smart career path and choice. Not to get too personal, I would like to ask if real estate investing is your main source of income, and also what type of investing did you start out in and where you are now. I know this is probably a different type of question to ask on here but any answer would be much appreciated.

hello all, I am in wholesale just starting out and I'm a little nervous.. Not about when investors are normally nervous about, however.  I am nervous about my age.  I am only 20 years old and I am concerned that when I either meet with a seller, or take a walk through on the property, that I will not be taken seriously and the homeowner will not even entertain my offer.  Is this fear justified, or is it all in my head? Will the owner really care to take me seriously if a 20 year old is making an offer on their house?  Any advice as well as personal stories would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello Wes, I am also a new investor planning on going into wholesaling and have been doing some solid research for about a month so far.  I have a lot more to learn, but my advice to you would be to browse BP and look at the blog and forums, specifically posts about wholesaling. Also, I personally find it very beneficial to watch videos on YouTube.  I particularly find a lot of useful information from Steph Davis. She does a lot of videos on YouTube and has a very useful website as well called flipthiswholesaler.net . Hopefully this is some help to you and I wish you all the luck.

Bill, thank you for the response and you gave me a lot to look into. Like I said, I am just getting started and haven't even worked a deal yet. I know that I have a lot of homework still to do before I can even think about working my first deal. I hope I didn't frustrate you too much with my "newbie" post hahah.

Nathan, thank you for your feedback, I appreciate it.  Why do you say that wholesaling is one of the hardest points of entry?

hello, my name is Ryan and I am a new investor and I am in the wholesale business.  Currently I am in the beginning stages of the process and have a few questions. First, how many houses can I expect or plan on buying and selling in a year starting out, and then also how many can I expect to buy and sell later down the road.  I know that you can't predict due to the many factors in place, however a rough estimate would be appreciated so I can have a foundation for my goals.  Thank you

hello all, I'm a investor in Pennsylvania and want to start out and do wholesales.  I was wondering if anyone knows what type of paperwork or contracts are needed when working out a deal in PA.  Is there a statewide accepted one or do most investors work with an attorney to draw them up for them? Thank you.

when working out a wholesale deal is a seller side only HUD legal to do in the state of Pennsylvania? I was watching a video about different ways around double closing and this was a way that came up. Thank you
