So I’m new to real estate and would love to get help and advice for this! I haven’t bought my first house or property. I’m working hard and trying to learn and understand as much as I can. I would love to try and partner up with someone or be put in the right direction to getting a duplex going. I’m a really hard working and know how to do all the aspects on the construction side so I can save money with hiring people to do the work. I want to get cash flow and be financially free and just need the help to get started. I will do anything for people to help me get going. I can only get approved for $150k

So if I can only get approved for $100k to $150k to buying my first property what do I even do to get started on flipping or renting it out? I haven’t bought my first house yet and would need a place to live.

I would love to partner up with someone and get a duplex in my area which is St. Louis MO and learn the ropes because this is something I really want to do.

I know how to do all the construction work in the field besides electric.

So I’m trying to figure out what is a good property to buy? I’m 25 and want to get a multi family duplex and live in one side and rent out the other side while I’m renovating it. I don’t know what I’m looking for and if I don’t get approved for something good then what? I would love to partner up with someone and teach me the ropes if I could. I’m a super hard worker and I’m a full time plumber. I know all how to do all the construction side of work besides electric. Can someone help me get started or get me good tips to help?

@Salvatore Lentini So I have yet to buy my first house or anything and I’m 25 and know how to do all the construction work to renovate a house or complex! I want to get into duplex and rent one side out while I renovate and live in the other side. So my question is where do I start and what if I can’t get approved for a property or find anyone selling a complex? I feel like I wouldn’t get approved for something like that. I’m a full time plumber.
