Hello everyone,

I am just getting started in real estate. Wholesaling, and eventually moving into flipping SFH, and rentals. I have a steady job now which I plan on leaving when my business takes up more of my time and brings in more money. That being said, one of the senior managers of the company has extensive real estate experience, and does flips and holds rental properties in addition to his normal job. We have chatted about this before but I never mentioned I was interested in it as well. Would it be wise to approach him as a mentor, which in turn would reveal to everyone that I don't plan to work there in the foreseeable future?

Hello everyone, I just recently started building a wholesaling business and have a question about the contracts. I have had people tell me to use the state specific purchase and sale agreement, however when I tried to acquire some of these, I was told  I had to be a licensed real estate agent. I also met with a real estate attorney, and he said he could draw one up for me. I just don’t know what would be most economical, and really what is the best route to go. Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks!

Hello everyone I am a new investor in the Chicagoland area, and have a question about acquiring my first property. I've met with an attorney to create a LLC for a wholesaling operation, but I know that it becomes tricky to get financing under a new LLC. That being said my wife and I are going to house hack our first property and could get it with a FHA (If COVID-19 allows) if we just put the duplex in our name. In this situation would you use your LLC or not?

My wife and I are wanting to get into wholesaling, and would like to know the pros and cons for being a licensed realtor and wholesaling?
