@William C. Thank you for your understanding

@Michael Tripp certainly my mistake. Funny thing is we only used Redfin because they didn’t like me just using them to view properties which I understand so I figured I’d give them a chance. Hindsight is 20/20

@Christopher Lombardi the appraiser used 3 comps that were sold within the last 6 months and were on the same street and guess how much they sold for? Under 250k. So this property got an extra 10k appraised amount

@Gary Barella so you would pay 268k for a property worth 260k?? Especially since we all signed a contract stating we the buyers are not obligated to pay the difference? If appraised for more than we agreed than that’s called a good deal and buying with equity just to answer your question

@Syed H. The TREC contract that was posted on here twice is what we signed as I stated that. You should read the thread before you comment. And please show me a fha contract that doesn’t include an fha amendatory clause.

@Jay Hinrichs it’s amazing I have to be an expert on Texas to see what I signed about an appraisal and fha. Yet no one given me any evidence to dispute what was signed, just opinions. I’ve asked for evidence and I only get opinions and criticism. Thanks I appreciate it
@Brent Crosby trust me I agree and have contacted her several times to make something happen. Pretty we won’t use Redfin again
This is now the most confusing post ever smh to say that we signed a contract for an fha loan that CLEARLY states we wouldnt lose our earnest money on a low appraisal and are not oblIgated to proceed wIth loan, but almost everyone here is saying that is wrong sounds crazy to me. Thanks for the advice👍🏾
@Brian Pulaski I understand that but again that is not the case. We are not backing out because everything is ok. We want the deal but this deal won’t work unless 2 things happen; we pay the difference of 8k (not a chance) or he drops the price. When he signed the contract stating it’s an fha he agreed to that. So if he doesn’t want to make the deal then ok but he should and cannot keep our em.
@Brian Ploszay ok that’s what I thought but I’m confused why most folks here seem to think otherwise.
