Hello Craig Bellot I'm relocating because I recently received a great job opportunity in Houston, TX and from what I've heard the economy is doing pretty well right now. Also I feel that RE investing would be better for me in Texas.

Hi Sakeena Andrade that's great to already see somebody I can network with in a completely new area that I will be investing in. If you can please send me a colleague request.

Hey CYNTHIA DIMITROFF congrats to you and your husband on your first rental property. You're going to get better as you go along. All of the recommendations that the other BP members suggested make sure you use them because they are an awesome source. I myself am currently living in Connecticut and will be relocating to Houston, TX in about a week and am looking forward to expanding my new network down there through the REI clubs and here on BP. I'll send you a colleague request, good luck with everything!!

I'm currently living in Connecticut and will be moving to Houston, TX and I'm really looking forward to the opportunity of getting my foot in the game for whatever kind of RE investing I choose to take. Is there anybody in the Houston, TX area here on BP that I can connect with once I get down there in about a week? Thanks in Advance

I'm thinking about trying to wholesale 1/3 acre of raw land where a single family house used to be, but got burned down. It's a FSBO and the sellers are kind of motivated and seem pretty flexible. This would be my first deal and I'm not sure if I should pursue it or start out with a conventional property such as single family or duplex. Anybody have any reasonable advice?

Dylan Grieve my advice to you would be get out there and join your local Real Estate investing club to learn and get hands on training in the different methods of real estate investing. Don't let the fear of student loans stop you from getting in the game and possibly doing your first deal. Investing can give you a way of you paying off your loans. I'm not saying put off your obligations completely but you can definitely get started. Keep us posted on your progress!! Good luck
