Let me check out the website and see when and where the next meetings are and try to go. Not sure what to expect...feel like I don't have anything to offer at this point.

Thanks for welcoming me. I'm so glad to know that people "grew up" here. I've read other things of course, but I plan to read a lot of the materials here and I really feel like the reason I found this site now is that I am really ready to make some moves.

I'm not sure what they are yet, but I think just trying to prepare a business plan is probably a step in the right direction. It'll force me to get out of "dreaming" mode and feel more like I can really do it. Plus I really like that everyone is "talking" the language here, and I'm not just reading it in a book.

So many people doing exciting things. I know that sounds corney, but I feel like this is a community that might get me to where I want to be---- FREEEEEE!!!!!!! :)

Hi out there BiggerPockets land! Seems like an awful lot of people on this site, which I just found today (or should I say, it finally found me!)

I am not brand new in dreaming about getting involved in real estate (key words here: flipping, New Jersey, need partner or investor, looking for mentor) but I could say this is the second solid action I've ever taken towards making my daydream a reality. I do have a real estate license (perhaps my first action), but have never really used it (and honestly, never really had any true intention on being a realtor--just wanted it for background info).

Anyway, I'm new and I'm scared, but dream of one day being able to get out from behind desk jobs working for others and eventually having my own flip business. At least that's what I think I want at this point in time. Subject to change of course.
