@Tim Delaney

Thanks all! Reason I'm concerned is that the previous owner did all sorts of creative wiring of both phone lines and electrical. I'm getting a professional to sort out the electrical (out of my class) but the phone lines? We've got 2-4 jacks per room, some going back to the 4 prong phone jacks!? Crazy. I just want to pull them.

Do I need wires for internet if I have a wireless router?

I'm in the middle of an owner occupied flip DIY style as much as possible. It's my 1st so I'm trying to learn.

It's a Post war Cape In a B class Neighborhood.

My question is do I need to have land lines and phone jacks in this day and age? The last post I could find on the subject was from 2014 so I wondered if people's opinions had changed?

@Patrick M.

Can't speak to rentals as I'm new but several friends have done the LifeProof flooring and they swear by it being durable and easy to DIY.

@jeff

@Jeff Cichocki. Thanks for such a detailed response! I'm probably not looking to wholesale myself, as i have a fulltime job right now which is really time consuming, but i believe completely in education and the more you know about every facet of this game, the better off you'll be. I do plan on joining WiscoReia soon! thanks for the suggestion. Right now Im just rehabbing a property as an owner occupant but would like to start BRRRR within the next year, if you ever have central or western wisconsin leads.

@Jeff Cichocki  i'm brand new to real estate investing, so please forgive my ignorance.  Can you explain why it's illegal (just in Wisco?) ? do you mean the lack of license, or the assignment of contract instead of double close, or something else?  Thanks so much!
