@Anise Henry. If you are looking for something with a consistent rental income, look at areas with good public transportation access, close proximity to large employers, and schools. Those are generally motivating factors for home buyers or renters that cannot afford or choose not to buy.

@Byron Brock there has been a lot of advice provided here and you should def start with asking yourself what you want back from your investment. If you want ownership for ownership's sake then maybe making a downpayment on a home is preferable. However, if you want to generate income from your investment, looking into options such as rental properties, family homes, etc can be another option worth exploring.

I wish you the best of luck, if you'd like to talk about it more feel free to reach out.

Hello Darrell,

Thank you for your post. I'm an active duty Army Officer. I recently started a RE company in Silver Spring, MD. I'm going to send two of my teammates over to this event. Are there any pre-reqs that need to be met in order to attend?

Hello @Joaquin Rosario. We've allocated money to run some online ads and signs in our community. That seems to be the best method for small businesses in our area. In a few months, we'll review our performance across those two marketing vehicles and see whether we should pivot to another method or double down on one. Thanks for your input!
