@Andy Mirza the contact info Paperstac and seller had was not going anywhere. Not sure what happened, but Paperstac was not able to reach anyone until I provided new info.

@Chris Seveneyz thanks, they were able to get the process started. The office is still there, but was having an issue getting things moving. I know I am not supposed to reach out but had to provide info to get things moving.

Hello,

I purchase a two notes and trying to get my notes transferred to Madison, but I am still waiting for Statebridge to get things going.  Has anyone worked with them or have a contact number for someone at that office?

Thanks,

Roland

Excited to say, I am closing on my first 2 notes.  Looking forward to more opportunities in the note investing space!

Welcome to KC and BP. Keep an eye out for the REI group meetings in the KC area. They are another good resource and ways to meet more people or your fellow BP members in person.

@Mark Bookhagen, thanks

@Corby Goade - After figuring out which office to call yesterday, I was going to call, but I will just go there instead.  Thanks for that tip.

I am looking to rent out my basement. It is a walk out 2 room (possibly 3) basement that has its own bathroom and I am going to add in a washer/dryer and a small kitchen to it.  Are there any other things that you all would add in or update in a basement that you would rent out for a house hack?

I thought I had found a forum discussion on this earlier this week, but I can't find it at the moment.  If you could post that link here, that would be helpful also.

@Matt Motil  Thanks for that.  I will be reaching out.

Welcome to BP!  I found out about BP from this MeetUp group that meets in Lees Summit the 2nd Monday of the month, https://www.meetup.com/Kansas-City-Real-Estate-Mentoring-and-Networking-Group/events/243257380/.  I will forewarn you it is a small group but I enjoy the group and learning from seasoned investors (and some new ones).  There are other Meetup groups, if you search in meetup.com, in the Greater KC area that meet but I can't do go to them because they meet during the day while I am at work.

Don't get me wrong I love the trees in the summer with the extra shade and what not.  For me, after our last storm I have branches all over my roof, and the trees that most of the branches came from are not mine. Now, I get to figure out who owns the land next to me, it is a vacant plot that is a small forest, to tell them I am trimming some of their trees. I also I know a lot of people that have had sewer and water pipe problems because of tree roots.

Welcome to KC.

Have you ran this through any of the BiggerPockets Calculators? Below is a link to a video on the BRRRR calculator. Right away, I would be a little hesitant just because of the trees, but that could be because I am dealing with that myself right now with my own home. I don't know much of the Grandview area, but it is not far from the NNSA site that people are moving out to so that could be a plus for new hires looking a place to rent that is close to work. So that is a plus.
