Oh I see, thank you William P. !

What do you mean "not in this market" @Account Closed? There are definitely statistics in this market. This is the big apple, and I know for a fact that big real estate companies such as the corcoran group, Douglas Elliman, etc. all have statistics for the market.

I was wondering if there was statistics for the public

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if there was a website or tool that displays the statistics of a real estate market in a certain city/neighborhood. Certain statistics would include inventory, increase/drop in supply and demand for specific property types etc.

Hey guys! I was having trouble with the topic of the legalities of how residential and commercial properties are taxed. Is it true that any property above 4 units is taxed as a commercial property, and any property 1-4 units is taxed as a residential property? Please correct me if I'm wrong, and add any additional info. You may know about the differences between commercial and residential properties!

@jacob, let's just say on one floor, there are 2 bedrooms and a living room. Would that legally be 1 or 2 units

Thank you for the great replies. I was specifically looking for the legal definition. From Tom's answer, im assuming a family house accounts for a unit
