Selling my first property, what questions should I ask a realestate attorney that has been referred to do my closing

Mark, my thoughts exactly  make them an offer they can't refuse....lol .... can't  have a dollar waiting on a dime... thanks

I already  have the 3k in earnest money, closing set for Feb 12 . Thanks for all your input  guys....

you are absolutely  correct, but the buyer wants to move into the second floor apt. After closing. ..think I might have to pay that tenant to move out early so I can close this deal. Thanks for your response it's greatly appreciated.

I have a building under contract and the buyer wants me to break the lease of one of the tenants prematurely how do I go about this

SOOOOO. theres a house on my block thats been vacant for a while . the lady that lived in it passed, her son who was older was living there as well. i went to the house this morning to ask if he might be intersted in selling... i knock on the door of course no one answers, the mail box is jammed packed with old mail and i see that the mail is registered to someone with a differant name. i check public records not to much more info to go on. how do i find out who really owns the house and how can i track them down

Thanks for the help, I think if people with pro accounts could archive blogs, post, etc. It would add to the value of the account. There is so much useful information in these forums sometimes it's hard to relocate a post you want to refer back to.
