@CJ M.

Back linking is a headache. I'm currently doing that for my own website right now. I would say being engaged and networking definitely plays a big part. Slow method but will eventually build up.

Joining a Linkedin group or Facebook group with active discussions is a much more effective way in my opinion if the OP wants to direct specific type of audience to the website.

There is a lot of factors that come into play here on how to have your website show up for specific keyword searches. Is your site optimized for search engines? Are you actively pushing out content?

Making sure your site is pushing out new content is a way for crawlers to keep coming back to your site and seeing that it is active. That is just one of the ways to get organic traffic.

If you really want your website to come up to target local area for people wanting to sell properties, then PPC (pay per click) is your best bet. Depending on the competition of the keyword you choose, Google will charge you per click. Be prepared because it does get pretty expensive to show up on Google. Essentially you're choosing keywords that searchers can be typing in and if they type in a specific keyword, Google will display your site.

It'll be too much information for one thread. I would recommend doing some research between paid and organic traffic. I always recommend doing some organic traffic first before paying.

Hi Timothy,

I've been in the web design business for awhile and clients that do have multiple websites have a hard time keeping up with it. I've also seen most realtors have tenant portals within their real estate website. I tend to notice broker and board provided IDX isn't always the best, there are third party IDX out there that are a lot better.

In my opinion, it would be best to have one website but different pages tied to each. For example, your real estate website can have a FIRE category for the blog and another category for real estate. That way, you get the SEO benefit of using different keywords tied to one website.

As for the Matterport 3D, since you already have a separate site for that, linking to that website on your realtor site would be the best bet. It's always good to keep things simple and easy. No need to have multiple website that fits the same niche :)
