@Conte Cuttino careful finding a freelancer on sites like fiverr or somethings up work. Most of them will download a template and plug in your information and don’t check a lot of errors. Had a lot of my clients that did that. I’m personally not a fan of Wordpress

@Kevin Jabbar Hi Kevin, I’ve been developing websites for 8 years now. Feel free to send me a message

@Jason Smith A lot of people recommend Wordpress or Wix, but I'm not a fan because of Wordpress being super high maintenance and Wix being super slow. Take a look at JAMstack. I'm a web developer myself and educating others that this is the new way to build better sites. I've built some real estate sites with it feel free to reach out if you need any help!

@Trina Pugmire I have a career in technology and moved away from Wordpress. Wordpress is still used by majority of websites but a lot of Wordpress owners are slowly shifting away from it because of it being a super high maintenance site (updating theme, plugin, software, database, etc). If you don't update, you leave your site vulnerable.

I recommend checking out JAMstack. It's a new way to build websites, it does require some developer knowledge. I built a few real estate websites with it this year and I love it. Feel free to message me and I can give you some more info.

I would prefer getting a quick site up and then run a campaign using the Facebook ads to direct your visitors to a landing page where they can put in their information. It sounds easy but involves some steps.

Hi Randy,

Have you looked into Instapage? Whenever I hear the word landing pages, I notice a lot of people go through Instapage or Leadpages. I believe they're all one page but I've only been in their system a few times through several clients I've worked with. Send me a message if you have any questions.

Hi Edward,

The best bet would be to build your website on Wordpress, but it's a little bit more involved. I design all my real estate websites for my clients on Wordpress for its flexibility. If you want something easy, I have seen real estate sites being built on Squarespace as well. I believe it is all cut and dry websites for $10/month.

If you'd like your visitors to search for listings, you'll need to integrate an IDX I use iHomefinder or IDXBroker. Most likely IDXbroker will have your board. If you need help feel free to send me a message.

I came across 2 options that might work. But I don't see if there is an option to integrate these systems into a website. The 2 I found are Avail and TurboTenant. Application fees are involved for both it seems like but these look like the best options I've come by.

For Avail, take a look at this link: https://rentalutions.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004101574-Do-tenants-pay-any-fees-to-use-Avail- for Online Payment.

@Timothy Church

Glad I was able to help out! Let me know if you have any other questions.

@CJ M.

Curious myself.

From my experience of managing websites for agents, most of them really find it important that they make sure they show up on search engines and I'll see clients pushing out tons of content themselves, which is great! One minor error from Google error is always a worry though. I can't say why the poster has his reason though :/
