How's the market and research in SFR in Indy serving you around this covid-19 season?

Ohhh I see I better check that area out then.

I know Indy is a good “cross road” for a lot of states surrounding it, and I think it would be more booming in terms of populatiion and employment in the near future.

What do you think about the market in general? In terms of cash flow and appreciation.

Yes! And I agree with you. I just finished David Greene’s “long distance investing” book and as I was reading it, my stomach kinda churns thinking about the challenges of doing OOS. But I totally agree with what you said! Just gotta keep learning and know how to mitigate risks!

You said you work with OOS investors? In what way?

And do you recommend any REI group or meet up that i should join.

@Jean Zipagan hi Jean! Glad to hear from you! Im an out of state investor from New Jersey. I currently don’t have a property in my belt yet , but, like you, I’ve been researching the Indianapolis area as well!

The indy market is really interesting for me. Im trying to focus on the C+ to B- neighborhoods, and I see a lot of cash flowing properties on the lower east side pockets of indy 😁. I know there’s a couple of rough neighborhoods around but I think that the rent-to-price ratio of the city itself is attractive enough, as long as we do good research!

When acquiring for a pre-approval for Mortgage, particularly doing the refinance part of the BRRRR method, what would be the best platform to acquire loans?

Credit Unions, Banks or Mortgage lenders?
