My wife is a CPA with 8 years experience and is looking to change jobs to a company where she can gain experience that will be relevant to our real estate investing. What type of company/role would you recommend she pursue to gain valuable knowledge about real estate investing?

Check out Redfin.com - if they are in your market you can find all the solds and active w contingency properties with all the MLS info, pictures, etc. It's nearly identical info to the MLS only one or two days behind.

Hi Alisha, Most (if not all) counties have a planning department that does a study every 5 years or so to determine future population growth, demographics, job growth, transportation needs, etc. It's usually called "2030 County Transportation plan". All of this is public information because it's funded by our tax dollars. Go to google and search for "[your county] 2030 transportation plan" and you will see a link to a large, usually 100+ page document. It is surprising how much information is available and how accurate these projections are - right down to which roads and highways will be upgraded when, estimated population increases, future zoning of commercial and residential property, and much more. Happy researching!

Can anyone recommend a good real estate attorney in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area? Thanks!
