I did not come to get criticized on how I know this or get told it is impossible to know or to go to stocks. I'm asking for advice and only the first responder was any help in actually answering that question. I know nothing about real estate as in nothing about investing in it or the process of getting funding for something like what I'm talking about. It is not contradictory to say this , and then say that I do know that the value of the properties will go up. I think anyone one who's i ln my situation, with the most general knowledge of anything, and is in my situation would understand what I'm talking about. However I'm not here to prove that the value will go up, or to debate semantics. If it helps to rephrase the question then here "hey community I'm new to real estate and have a strong sense based on neighborhood development that some properties will appreciate in the next. 10-20 years. However I do not know much about the process of investing in real estate, especially as a student with no money or assets of any value to put up as collateral. The question then is about what are the steps id be taking to get money for my venture,NOT whether the property will appreciate in value and how am I so sure, I can explain that when the time is necessary and I'm pretty sure it's of little importance right now.

I'm new to real estate. I'm 19 years old and currently attending a private university. I have no money and really know nothing about real-estate. However, I know an area that is undergoing some development that is going to cause the properties within the area to be worth multiple times more than what they are now. I would love to buy these properties, and rehab them to sell or rent them at a future date. The development in the area is not going to be finished for another 10-20 years but it is really going to turn the surrounding neighborhoods around. With no money to my name, and no real valuable assets what are my chances and getting any type of money for this project?
