Some people have given me advice of attending REIA meetings in my area. I have a question regarding this. How exactly should I protect myself if I go to one of these meetings. I will surely have to go more in-depth about why I am sure about the property value increasing, but then I could just be left out of the picture and they go do it themselves. Is their some sort of like paperwork I could bring to ensure they don't steal my plan?

I appreciate the concern, but this is really not speculation. I'm 99% positive this is going to turn out well, so I'd call it a calculated risk, and the risk is extremely low. I'm just not sure how to go about a deal

The 99% plays it safe with money. The 1% takes calculated risks. That's how I am, and this is calculated for sure. Trust me on that I could show some solid proof of why I feel so strongly that this will happen.

Thanks Zach. I appreciate your input. Right now I think it's just a matter of obtaining the properties as soon as possible. Then doing some work on them, but I wouldn't plan on renting for at-least another 10-years as the property value goes up. I do not have any credit, (However I should be getting a steady 600-monthly income from another venture I'm in soon so plan to start building good credit ASAP). I will do some research into seller financing, do you have any other suggestions that I should look in to, or just general subjects close to the niche I'm considering?

Thanks Adam. Yeah I was realizing that as I posted other places in the forum. That if I want someone to invest in my plan, that I have to bring something to the table. Going to learn all I can as I live my daily life. Any suggestions on good places to be an assistant at. Not sure exactly what kind of careers there are in the real-estate industry or where I'd want to be working at

Hello all. I'm new to real-estate, and only 19yrs old. I'm in college and want to start out mentioning that I do not have money nor any assets of notable worth. However I know of some properties that are going to be more than quadrupling in value within the next 20 years (trust me on this) and I'm looking to get funding to potentially buy these properties now, rehabilitate them, and then as certain things happen that will make these properties worth a lot more then rent them out. But like I said I don't have any money or any experience in real-estate. What steps should I take to obtain the capital needed for such a venture I'm looking to buy multiple properties and want this to be my early retirement plan. I'm willing to learn anything I need to do as far as managing the property and being a landlord so any information regarding the business side would be helpful too.
