@Kenneth McKeown That’s fantastic! If I make it to Dallas I’d love to meet up for lunch to discuss what you’re doing!

Hi @Kenneth McKeown That’s great to hear- thanks!

I’m actually looking to get my first deal in Texas and I’m looking state wide. Do you focus on the Dallas area or elsewhere too?

Hi everyone! I'm actively searching for rental properties in Texas and I'm looking to connect with real estate agents, wholesalers, lenders and property managers to help build my team. Please let me know who you recommend I work with (or who I shouldn't work with!).

... I know Texas is a big place, but I haven't narrowed my search down any further. Basically I'm looking at Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Round Rock, Fort Worth and Dallas. If there's a good deal to be had I will consider it.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions and recommendations! R

I think he's reasoning is sound but as as newbie investor I am having difficulty buying a multifamily due to the larger down payment and loan required, therefore I'm refocused on research on SFH.

Surely one door is better than no doors.

I love how long and detailed it is! I will definitely reach out.

Hi John, WOW thank you so much for sharing your research on the San Antonio market! I am an out of state investor actively looking to invest in San Antonio. Your research significantly assist me. I'll run the zip codes past the properties I have been looking at and see how I match up. Thanks again

Hi @Justin D. I am currently using Realtor and Zillow. When I narrow down on an area I get an agent to set up an MLS list for me. Where are you looking to invest?

Thanks for your comment @Craig Bellot Yes I have rentals but they are in Australia and I use a property manager. Definitely my preference over doing it myself.

Do you invest in CT?

Thanks for your reply @Jason Arcuri I have been spending a lot of time researching the towns between Hartford and New Haven. Definitely seems like some great options to suit my budget. Many of the homes are verrryy old. Do you find that you run into problems with excessive maintenance due to the age of properties?
