Hello,

What is the best way to collect rent from a tenant? What online platforms work best? or direct deposit?

Thanks!

Unless you have more than 5-6 rentals, I wouldn't even spend one minute looking for software or other solutions.

go to your bank and ask for direct deposit instructions for your renters. They can provide you a form. Tenant fills it out, gives it to their bank, and payments go from their account to yours.

Is your Tenant afraid of technology? Give them some deposit slips. They can drive to your bank and deposit the payment themselves.

Thank you!!! I will do that!

Hi, I am also new to real-estate investing and looking to network!

 Hi Rachelle!

Are you also located in Lubbock, TX? I'd love to connect with you and talk to you more about investing out here!

 Hello Michael!

I am in Lubbock!

Thank you! You all have been so helpful!

Hi, I am also new to real-estate investing and looking to network!

Hello! We are looking at properties that already have tenants. I am wondering how that process works (lease, rules etc. that are already in place from previous owner). Do we write a new lease and have them sign? Do we finish off their lease then make a new one?

All advice is welcome :)
