Has anyone used Bench.co for bookkeeping for their fix and flip business?  If so, how is this working for you?  And does your CPA like it?  Seems like a perfect solution for those who don't enjoy keeping the books.

 Hi Ophelia:

I realize this post is pretty old, but I love what you said in the above paragraph regarding being able to see the difference between when a woman rehabs versus a man.  I'm hoping that is one of the big things that helps my future rehabs stand out from the crowd.  Has that been your experience?  Are you still getting multiple offers?  Love that!!

Michael Noto I would consider my area middle class, but do see a lot of rehabbers outsourcing. I'm thinking this may have more to do with not wanting to deal with the hassle of moving or not necessarily being interested in the design aspect.

J Scott Thank you. Will definitely keep that in mind when the time comes. Btw, just received my copy of The Book on Flipping Houses. Can't wait to dig in!

This is why I love BP. You're all so creative with finding solutions to things and making money while doing it. Perfect way around the storage issue J Scott & Ophelia N.

Thank you for all of the feedback Ophelia N. J Scott Art Allen Steve Bradigan ! The design element is definitely something I'm into, so I'm leaning more towards doing my own. Seems like storage will be the big issue.

I'm a newbie and am definitely putting the cart before the horse here, but does anyone do their own staging? I'm thinking this would be much more cost effective in the long run if you have a good eye for design. I've noticed in my area that a lot of the staging companies use very generic, dare I say, cheap looking furniture to stage with. I have something else in mind. Any thoughts on this?

I've seen a lot of people make mention that they really only use fix & flips to get to their long term goal of building a rental property portfolio to create passive income. Are there any investors out there who have stuck with fix & flips for the long term? I feel passionate about rehabs because I enjoy seeing the transformation and am wondering what others' experiences have been with sticking to one type of REI.
