Hi everyone,

Bringing this thread back up, how do you get a pre-approval for a multifamily house where you'll need to use it's projected rental income for loan qualification. Can it be a generic pre-approval or does it have to be specific to the house I would like to make an offer on?

Thanks,

Thank you @Lien Vuong

Hi BP community,

For those familiar with the Boston area, I was wondering if any areas outside of downtown Boston make sense to do air bnb / str's?

Would a commuter town like Chelsea, Everett, or Revere have enough demand for the numbers to work?

Thanks,

In the Everett, Medford, Malden, MA area, I see some property in residential neighborhoods that are used as offices for the likes of lawyers and insurance agents. I was wondering if it would be possible to convert this space into residential rentals? What would typically be needed to make this up-to-code and rezoned?

I saw a small vacant 2-unit office building (3600 sq ft total) for sale in a residential area and I was wondering whether this could be rezoned and converted a 2-4 unit rental?

What are some things I need to be thinking about and/or researching?

What are some building codes typically required for residential zoning, but not required for office use?

Thanks,
