Karen M. Thanks for the advice I am very new to the new construction arena and I am learning something new everyday. Right now I am in the process of getting the 2 lots and the house surveyed and then have the planning board ok the building of the new houses based on the specs of the lots. Going to the original builder for a potential sale or information was something I was going to do once things from my end are finalized. thanks again for the info.

I spoke on this a while back about a friend of mine who's mother has a house with 3 build able lots (including the original house) that I am helping him wholesale to builders/developers. It is on a block where there are all new construction homes and only his old house with the 2 connecting lots. I wanted to know how to go about assessing the value of the property (the house and the 2 other lots) so he can make sure they know the value and they are selling the package at the right price. Do you deal with a real estate agent? Get An appraisal? We are going through the survey and getting the land subdivided right know and I know that will be a question coming up soon. Thanks for any help.

Thanks Justin and Danny for the info. I will definitely work with the MLS because my mother is an agent so I know that helps a lot. Danny can you expand on speaking with the land department. Do they keep list of builders? Are they able to point me in the right direction looking for a buyer? Thanks again for the information guys.

Hi I have a friend that is looking to sell his mothers house that sits on 3 build-able lots. It sounds like he wants to put it under contract, wholesale it to a developer/builder, make money for his mom and make money a little spread on the back end. He asked me about marketing it to builders and developers without and agent and I am here to find some direction for him. What is the bast way to find developers/builders to sell a property/land to?
