Just Don, he stated he sold the house with 2 acres. He is the owner of the ground, and why would it be illegal to cash rent property you own?

Matthew, that sounds like a possibility to try and find a house with property, and then sell the house off with a small amount of land and keep the rest.

No luck finding anything yet that I am interested in. I just purchased a SFH, so I will be working on that for the next month. Thanks for all the replies.

Thanks for the feedback. I would not expect it to cashflow like my rentals; however, I was looking to see if it would help cover a large percentage of the costs.

Anyone have experience in covering costs with cash renting tillable acreage? I am looking at investing in some farm ground, and I was wanting to cash rent to help cover costs while I might enjoy some hunting benefits .

Rents are due on the 1st, and my payments are due on the 17th.

It did not sell at auction. I bidded on it again through the asset manager. I just learned I'm in the "back up" position because a higher offer has been recieved.

Learned this afternoon my offer did not get accepted. Asset manager stated I should attend the auction this weekend. I may wait to see if it does not sell at auction.

Anyone have any luck with getting good deals through the on-line bidding process with Hudson and Marshall?

I have currently placed 3 bids for a house, and I am waiting on a final response.

Thanks.

Will
