I have my MBA from the University of Phoenix. It was a 12 class 18 month program (straight through with no breaks). It was the most cost effective MBA program I could find but I did it full time while working full time. So I basically didn't have a life for 18 months straight so I wouldn't recommend doing that. I just wanted to get it over with ASAP to start my career as a Loan Originator (Which wasn't needed, it is just a credibility factor due to my age and limited work experience). Part time would be the better option for sure. But I'm a big advocate in higher education. I can say one thing that my MBA allowed for me to become a very good writer and much better at communication. When I'm constantly presenting in front of realtors or a first time home buyer seminar, my MBA experience really shows. In addition to my mortgage job I also own a franchise business which also was a big proponent to getting my MBA. Hope this helps.

Hello Daniel, you might need to find a private money or HML if you do not have two years history of commissions as a Real Estate Agent going conventional. I'm a 50 state lender and have two other realtors in the same boat as you looking to buy but cannot due to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Guidelines. We have a portfolio loan like most lenders do but that could also be something to look for trying to get pre-approved.

Hello Gregory! I am a 50 state lender based out of Minneapolis and I am happy to help answer any specific financing related questions you may have. You should consider moving back up here and do a owner occupied tri-plex or 4-plex and only have to put down 3.5%!!!

I'm a 50 state lender living in Minneapolis and I would have to agree with Derek. Buying an non owner occupied investment property in Minnesota is great Rental Revenue. Home values are going up too. Let me know if you have any financing related questions I can help answer.
