If anyone needs affordable real estate photography in the Valley. I am home for the Summer and able to do so. Reach out if you would like to see proof of work.

That is pretty creative. Love the grind!

I am wanting to get an investment property this Summer. I cannot live in it so I will probably having to get a conventional loan. My goal right now is to take small steps in getting to my goal of getting a property, and I feel like a good first step is seeing what I qualify for. Will I qualify for a loan as a college student who only works in the Summer. My one benefit is that I do have a decent amount of cash. Every summer I work as a door to door salesman and that really helps me rack some cash, and I plan on doing that again this Summer to make another 20-30k. I have a 750 credit score too. What are my chances and options for a loan?

Hey Bigger Pockets, I have been very interested in getting my brother in on a deal. I was wondering kind of the best way to do that or just maybe hear some experiences from people who have done deals with friends or siblings and how they went? Do you make whatever split you are doing official even when it is with your brother? I just want to hear some thoughts?

That’s awesome dude!

I am currently a Junior at Texas A&M University. I have always wanted to get into Real Estate, but I constantly have this battle between if I should wait until I graduate or if I should try to do something small in the Summer. I am from South Texas(Valley) where property is not super expensive, and I have thought of just buying some land just to resell just to get my feet wet. Any advice from people who have invested while in college or who have waited until after?

Thank you so much! I appreciate hearing the other things I could do with it.

I am deciding on whether I should do the program or not. Thoughts?

I have been on the forums before wanting to get into real estate investing, but after a ton of advice--it seems like I should wait until after school. There are two things that fell into my lap though. Two options for my masters here at Texas A&M. The first program is called the PPA program and it allows you to get your bachelors in accounting and your masters in Finance as well as your CPA in only 5 years. The other option is A&M Masters in Real Estate program which is supposed to be one of the best. I don't know which one I would want to do. There are definitely perks from both, but I also feel like you do not really need a Masters in Real Estate to be good at it. Which one do you guys think is better?

I am new to the Bigger Pockets. I am from Mcallen,Tx, but currently attending Texas A&M. I have been wanting to buy a house for a while now, but it is hard to get started. Anybody know good agents in the College Station area?
