I live in the Twin Cities and recently joined the BP community as well. I've already been to a few real estate investing events/meetups through people I have connected with on the site. MNREIA holds events throughout the month (first one is free, after that you have to pay for a membership or per event.) I am starting out, and would like to get my real estate license before completing my first deal. Anyone have suggestions as to the best way to get licensed in MN?

Yes I have been interested in househacking, but I just signed a lease to rent for a year. I'm splitting rent with my girlfriend and paying $600 so I figure I could buy a duplex and just rent out both units and put the cashflow towards my rent. I am definitely interested in that for my next residence. 

Hey Everyone, 

I recently graduated college and I'm excited I can now devote more time to the BP community and learning about real estate investing. I have been in observation mode for a few weeks now taking in tons of great info from articles and podcasts on BP. I would love to make some connections with investors in the Minneapolis area. I am still mapping out my real estate journey, but I would like to close on some sort of a deal this year (leaning towards multi-family.) Excited to be here!
