Thanks @Ned Carey.

After some more reading here:

I am realizing how important capital preservation is and all crowdfunding offers for non-accredited investors look risky at this time. I am giving more thought as to what to do next.

Thank you.

Hi Pros,

This is my first post. Pls excuse my ignorance.

I am a software engineer looking to invest $30-50k in real estate. I doubt if I can do proactive investment. Hence looking at passive and crowd funding options.

I have seen some very knowledgeable discussions in the forums and references (https://www.therealestatecrowdfundingreview.com/single-post/2017/10/27/Which-real-estate-crowdfunding-fund-should-I-pick-For-non-accredited-everyday-investors)

Looking at the crowd funding options the target cash flows are ~ 10% which is good compared to other forms of investment.

But can I target a much higher cash flow (~ $1000 per month) for a $30-50k passive investment? I am willing to wait for a year or two to reach this goal. Or is it not possible or too risky?

Thank you!
