Some of the best advice I ever received for real estate Investing was simple, take a drive around your neighborhood. It's simple and to the point, but it's something we over look.

How else will know the area better than you?

Cheers

Just wondering if anyone is developing in or around Newport Beach and the Corona Del Mar area. I took a drive with my wife this weekend and it seem that every other block had a New or Remodel Project going up.

Thanks in Advance.

@Shymira Woodbury

Mentor are always a very good idea, finding one is a different story.

I would start with your personal circle and maybe bring up a conversation regarding Real Estate and/or Investing.

Have a someone to bounce ideas off is a excellent approach.

Cheers.

I would make it a habit of also asking the contractor for Schedule of Values and a Construction Schedule.

  • Grading $$$
  • Foundation $$$
  • Concrete $$$
  • Framing $$$

ETC......
