All, I have to bow out for this month as I'll be traveling for work again on that date.  Did you all see this in Bangor? MeetUp with Brandon Turner

I'm afraid I must bow out as well - really sorry but I have to be at a property I am going to be closing on next week this evening at 6.  

We are closing on our 1st Multi Family in Arundel, Maine.  I'd like to find an accountant with Real Estate experience at the outset so that we can be ready for next year.  Does anyone have any recommendations in Southern Maine?

I've recently returned to Maine after 15 years in North Carolina.  We were in the Charlotte region.  I recommend Charlotte Metro to no one.  If you enjoy the food and beer scene in Portland than I think you'll find Asheville is nice and you'd get some seasons and beautiful scenery.  I also enjoyed the Wilmington region if you are interested in the coast.  You'll find that the price of entry is much lower than it is in Southern Maine.

I grew up about a mile away from there just across the river in Winslow.  Are you planning on having a property manager?  This isn't the worst part of Waterville (Gold/Summer streets) but it's not great.  I'm thinking of looking in Winslow/Waterville after I get off the ground here in Kennebunk because units are more affordable in Central Maine but I personally would avoid this one if you are worried about renter issues.  

@James McCard, if you could share the contractors here that'd be great as I am looking right now in Kennebunk as well.

I've just moved to the Portland area from NC and am interested in a meetup as well.
